Safe, Precise Incubation

Tape Baking & Restoration

Certain analog tape formulations from the 1970s onward can develop Sticky Shed Syndrome, rendering them unsafe to play, resulting in unrecoverable damage to the tape and the machine if played untreated. Our incubators are the gold standard in controlled heat treatment, ensuring ultimate safety for your tapes. Our Fisher Scientific incubator holds temperature within one-tenth of a degree Celsius and automatically shuts down if drift exceeds three degrees. Our Grieve Oven has been expertly modified to be computer programmable withing a tenth of a degree with controlled ramp up and ramp down duration.
